Upload your files, choose what you want to do, inspect the results and download everything when you're done. Everything you need is organized in one place.
Work with the file types supported by this workspace.
Capabilities
The workspace gives you the tools to inspect, transform and work with your files efficiently.
Manage multiple text files from a single workspace. You can create new files, upload existing files, switch between files, and work on individual files through the active-file editor. The workspace keeps track of files created inside the workspace as well as files uploaded by the user.
Files can be added using multiple methods, including uploading individual or multiple files, uploading an entire folder, and dragging and dropping files into the workspace. A new file is created automatically when the workspace is opened for the first time so that you can start editing immediately. When a folder containing unsupported file types is uploaded, unsupported files are automatically discarded during processing and only supported text files are added to the workspace.
Files can be selected from the workspace for operations and downloading. Selection is independent of the active file shown in the editor. When an operation is executed, it is applied to all currently selected files, allowing you to process multiple files without opening each one individually. Similarly, downloading selected files downloads all files currently included in the selection.
The status bar provides an overview of the current workspace state. Total Files shows the number of files currently present, including both uploaded files and files created within the workspace. Selected Files shows how many files are currently selected for operations or downloading. Processing shows the number of files on which an operation is currently being executed. Completed shows the number of files for which the current operation has finished.
The workspace provides a collection of built-in text operations that can be applied directly to the selected files. Operations can be used to transform, analyze, format, or otherwise process text without requiring you to manually edit each file. Depending on the operation, the result may modify the file, generate output, or provide additional information about its contents.
Operations can be applied to multiple selected files at once. This makes it possible to perform repetitive text-processing tasks across a group of files instead of processing them individually. The workspace tracks the processing state of each file so you can monitor how many files are currently being processed and how many have completed.
The Workspace also provides a Run Custom Javascript operation for advanced users who want to perform their own text transformations or processing logic. Custom JavaScript runs within the workspace and can be used when the built-in operations do not provide the transformation you need.
Files are processed directly in your browser. Your file contents do not need to be uploaded to a Lamuki server for normal workspace operations. This allows you to work with text files while keeping their contents on your device and is a core part of Lamuki's privacy-first design.

Privacy
Lamuki is built with a privacy-first approach. Your uploaded files, created files, and any text or other content you paste into a workspace are processed directly in your browser. Your data is not uploaded to Lamuki's servers and is not sent to third-party services or applications for processing. Lamuki does not need to receive your files or their contents for normal workspace operations to work. By default, workspace data is cleared from the browser when you reload or leave the page, helping prevent your files and content from being retained unnecessarily. If you enable the State Persistence option, Lamuki can retain your workspace state locally in your browser so that you can continue your work after a reload. Persistent data remains on your device rather than being uploaded to Lamuki.
