No. Lamuki does not require you to create an account.
We don't save your files on our servers. You can choose to persist your workspace in your browser by going to the Overrides page and enabling "Persist over reload".
No. Lamuki processes your files directly in your browser, so your files don't need to be uploaded to our servers for processing.
Lamuki stores and processes your workspace data locally in your browser. Your files are not stored on our servers.
Yes. Once Lamuki is available in your browser, file processing and downloading can work without a server because your files are processed locally in your browser.
By default, your workspace state is not persisted across reloads. If you want to keep your files, operations, and outputs after reloading, enable "Persist over reload" in Overrides.
There is no fixed file-count limit imposed by Lamuki. The practical limit depends on your device's available hardware resources, especially memory.
Yes. Lamuki supports folder uploads in workspaces that support them. When downloading, you can enable "Preserve folder structure" to recreate the original folder structure in the downloaded ZIP.
Operations are applied only to the files you have selected. You may not have selected all of your files. You can select all files using alt+a or by selecting "All Files".
There is no fixed limit imposed by Lamuki. Since operations are executed in your browser, your device's available hardware resources are the main practical limitation.
Supported file types depend on the workspace. Here are the file formats currently supported by each workspace:
{"text":["txt","md","json","xml","html","css","js","ts","jsx","tsx"]}
Currently, Lamuki does not support applying multiple operations at once. However, you can select multiple files and apply one operation to all of them simultaneously.
Lamuki does not impose a fixed download-size limit. When multiple files are downloaded as a ZIP, the ZIP is prepared in your browser's memory, so the practical limit depends on your device's available RAM.
When enabled, Lamuki downloads only the files that have been modified by an operation. Unmodified files are excluded from the download.
When enabled, Lamuki recreates the original folder structure when downloading multiple files as a ZIP. Files uploaded directly or created in the workspace are placed in the root of the ZIP.
Operations work on your files within the workspace. The resulting file state is updated according to the operation, and you can download the resulting files whenever you are ready.
Yes. Select the files you want to process and apply an operation. The operation will be performed on all selected files that support it.
Lamuki performs operations directly in your browser. Processing speed depends on the operation, the number and size of your files, and your device's available hardware resources.
Large files or a large number of files can require significant browser memory and processing power. Since Lamuki processes files locally, performance depends on your device's available resources.
Overrides are preferences that let you change Lamuki's default behavior. For example, you can choose to persist your workspace across reloads, download only modified files, automatically apply certain operations, or preserve folder structure when downloading.
Yes. You can reset your Lamuki Overrides to their default values from the Overrides page.
Yes. Go to the Overrides page and use the "Clear workspace" action at the bottom of the page to remove all files, operations, and outputs from the current workspace.

When "Persist over reload" is enabled, changes to the currently opened file (Active file) may not be saved immediately. If you reload the page or close the browser immediately after editing, those changes may be lost. To make sure the latest changes are saved, either apply an operation to the file, open another file from All Files, or create a new file.
Check the "Download only modified files" option on the Overrides page. When this option is enabled, Lamuki downloads only files that have been modified by an operation. Changes made directly in the editor do not count as modifications for this option. To mark a file as modified, apply an operation that modifies the file.
