Workspace
A workspace is a dedicated environment for working with a specific type of file or task. It provides the tools and operations needed to work with your files.
Learn Lamuki
Understand the core concepts of Lamuki, learn how to work with individual files, and discover how to process multiple files efficiently.
Before using Lamuki, it helps to understand the terms you'll see throughout the interface.
A workspace is a dedicated environment for working with a specific type of file or task. It provides the tools and operations needed to work with your files.
A file is an item uploaded to or created within a workspace. Files can be viewed, edited, processed, and downloaded.
An editor is the part of a workspace where you can view or directly edit the contents of an active file.
The active file is the file currently opened in the editor. Only one file can be active at a time.
Selected files are the files currently selected for an operation or other workspace action. Multiple files can be selected at the same time.
An operation is an action that can be performed on one or more selected files. Examples include counting words, converting text case, or transforming file contents.
Apply starts the selected operation on the selected files using the configured operation settings.
Idle means that a file is not currently being processed by an operation.
Processing means that an operation is currently being performed on the file.
Completed means that the operation has finished processing the file successfully and its result is available.
A computed result is the result produced by an operation after processing a file. Depending on the operation, it may be a modified file, calculated value, or other output.
An override is a preference that changes Lamuki's default behavior for a specific feature.
Work with a single file from the editor, apply an operation, and download the computed result.
When you open an operation page, Lamuki automatically creates a default file for you. You can start writing directly in the editor, or upload a file to replace the default file.
Select an operation from the Operation Window if one isn't already selected. Your currently selected operation will be displayed in the Status Bar at the top.
If the selected operation requires any input, fill in its configuration options below the editor.
Click Apply to run the selected operation on the active file.
Once processing is complete, the result will appear in the Computed Output block. You can download the resulting file from there.
You can select another operation at any time. Configure its inputs if required, click Apply, and continue working with the file.
Process multiple files together, or work on different groups of files with different operations.
You don't have to wait for one operation to finish before preparing another. While files are processing, you can select a different group of files and run another operation.
Add files to your workspace by uploading multiple files, uploading a folder, dragging and dropping files, or creating files directly within the workspace. You can add as many files as your device can comfortably handle.
Go to All Files to view the files in your workspace and select the files you want to process. You can select any number of files, and they don't all have to use the same operation.
Select the operation you want to perform and configure its inputs if required. The selected operation will be shown in the Status Bar.
Click Apply to start the operation on all selected files. Each file is processed individually, and its status changes from Idle to Processing and then Completed.
You don't have to wait for one operation to finish before preparing another. While files are being processed, you can select a different group of files, choose another operation, configure its inputs, and click Apply.
You can prepare another group of files and run a different operation while the current files continue processing.
This allows you to run different operations on different groups of files within the same workspace. For example, you can convert three text files to uppercase while simultaneously running a word counter on another group of files.
After processing is complete, the computed results are available for the corresponding files. You can then download the selected files, download all files, or use the available download options to download only the files you need.
Choose a workspace and start working with your files directly in your browser.
